WD GANN ANGLES

WD GANN ANGLES

In 1935 W.D. GANN descries the use of GANN Angles in his Book The Basic Forecast Method,
There is 360 Degrees in a circle no matter how large or how small the circle may be. so a certain number of these degree and angles are of vast importance and indicate when important tops and bottoms occur on stocks / currencies, as well as denote important resistance levels, with these you will be able to solve any problem and determine the trend of any market.

These Angles measure and divide Time and Price into proportionate parts.
First Important Geometrical Angle is the 45° or 1 x 1 ( moving-average that moves up one point per day, one point per week or one point per month).

Next Important Angle is 2 x 1(moves up at the rate of 2 points per day, week, or month). It divides the space between the 45° angle and the vertical angle into two equal parts.
the 1 x 2 Angle is important as 2 x 1 Angle and it is moves up at the rate of 1 point per 2 days, 2 weeks, or 2 month. 1 x 2 divides the space between the 45° angle and the Horizontal angle into two equal parts.

The third Important Angle: 4 x 1- which moves up 4 points per day, week, OR month. This angle is 4 x 1, or 4 points of space equal one period of time.
The 1 x 4 Angle is important as 4 x 1 Angle and it is moves up at the rate of 1 point per 4 days, 4 weeks, or 4 month. 1 x 4 divides the space between the 45° (1 x 1 Angle) and the Horizontal angle into two equal parts.
Fourth Important Angle: 8 x 1- moves up 8 points per day, week, or months.
The 1 x 8 Angle is important as 8 x 1 Angle and it moves up 1 point per 8 days, weeks or months

Next in importance is: 16 x 1 Angle which moves up 16 points of Price to one period of Time.
The 1 x 16 Angle is important as 16 x 1 which moves up 1 point of price to 16 period of time (day, Week or month).
GANN Mentioned 3 x 1 Angle in his book which moves up at the rate of 3 point per 1 day, 1 week, or 1 month, 3 x 1 angle is the half way angle between 2 x 1 and 4 x 1 Angles.
The 1 x 3 Angle is important as 3 x 1 Angle, 1 x 3 Angle moves up 1 point of price per 3 days, weeks or months.
If we use these same sequence of this angles we will get the below numbers
1 x 1 , 1 x 2 , 1 x 4 , 1 x 8 , 1 x 16 , 1 x 32 , 1 x 64 , 1 x 128 , 1 x 256 , 1 x 512 ,
1 x 1024 , 1 x 2048 , 1 x 14096 , 1 x 8192 .
Notice the second number is multiplied by 2 , we can keep multiplying the second number buy 2 to get more angles if we need.

1 x 1 , 2 x 1 , 4 x 1 , 8 x 1 , 16 x 1 – 32 x 1 , 64 x 1 – 128 x 1 , 256 x 1 , 512 x 1 and we can keep multiplying the first number by 2 to get more angles if we need that.
First Half Way Angles, Important Angles
Gann Mentioned 1 x 3 Angle; this is the half way angle between 1 x 1 and 1 x 2
If we need to get the half way angles between the other major Angles so we get the below angles

1 x 3 , 1 x 6 , 1 x 12 , 1 x 24 , 1 x 48 , notice that the second number is multiplied by 2, we can keep multiplying the second number by 2 to get more angles if we need.
Also Gann Mentioned 3 x 1 Angle; this is the half way angle between 1x1 and 2x1
If we need to get the half way angles between the other major Angles so we get the below angles

3 x 1 , 6 x 1 , 12 x 1 , 24 x 1 , 48 x 1 , notice that the first number is multiplying by 2, we can keep multiplying the second number buy 2 to get more angles if we need that.

Now let us write down the important angle in a table

WHAT IS THE HALF WAY ANGLE BETWEEN 1x1 and 1x2?

To Get the Half way Angles between 2 angles you need to sum the first number in each to get the first number of the half way angle then sum the 2nd number of each angle to get the 2nd number of the half way angle.1 x 1 and 1 x 2Sum the first number in each to get the first number of half way angle, ==>     1 + 1 = 2.Sum the 2nd number of each angle to get the 2nd number of half way angle, ==>  1 + 2 = 3.So, half way Angle between 1 x 1 & 1 x 2 is 2 x 3.
